Short Order (1945)
A good story about a horribly disfigured man who visits a diner every day to bring the owner bad luck. Everything seems to be going well for Mr. Bailey and his diner. He’s just taken on a great new chef and business is booming until one day a man with a face that could haunt your dreams walks in. Unfortunately, the man ends up becoming a regular and slowly the other diners start to stay away as they don’t want the man with the seriously deformed face putting them off their food. One-by-one his customers drop-off until Mr. Bailey has no option but to look at selling-up.
Stars Joseph Kearns, Gerald Mohr and Conrad Binyon
