The Story of Markham's Death (1947)
Phil Markham was a writer and right now he was spending as much time looking at his typewriter, as he would normally spend writing a novel. But however understanding she was he didn’t need Anne’s stupid sympathy. He decided that he would go away to England for a few months for some inspiration. In England he comes across a box of things that had belonged to the famous author Edgar Allan Poe including a composition that only he had ever seen and that he decided to plagiarize as his own.
